面接に行ってきた。
僕は履歴書に前職の退職理由が鬱であることに触れている。
書類はもう30箇所以上に出したが、面接まで進めたのはこれが6回目。
過去の5回は鬱であることに質問が集中し、ある時にはなじられて落ちた。

今回も面接官の一人に鬱は甘えだ、
仕事に対する責任感の欠如ではないかと問われた。
僕は人一番責任をもって仕事をやってきた自負があるから悔しくて泣きそうになった。
情緒不安定だと判断されそうだから、我慢しながら説明をしたけど結局こらえきれなかった。
するとずっと黙っていたプレジデントが、さらにつっこんだ質問をしようとした人を制して、
君は判断するにあたって何を知りたいのかね。
君は見ず知らずの人に仕事に対する姿勢を否定されて涙が出ないかね。
でないだろうな。僕はやっぱり彼同様に涙がでるんだがね。
それがわからない君に、これ以上質問をする資格はないと言うことだよ。
○○課長、続きは君にお願いするよ。と言われた。
その後は場の空気が重くなったけど、
課長が期待される内容や待遇の説明、
フレックスの適用等も考慮するので
今の状況で務まりそうであれば私の元で頑張って欲しいといわれた。
最終面接は常務と人事部長、今回助けてくれたプレジデントとで行われる形式的なものらしい。

役職は前職よりも一個落ちるし、
もしかしたら最終面接で落とされるかもしれないが、
こんな理解ある人の下で働けたら最高だと思う。
就職活動をしていて初めて良かったと思えた。
就職活動をしている人はこんな人に出会えるといいなと思う。 ”
